Blades of Furry

figure skating but add gay furries, sports battles, and bloodlust - what's not to love with that? this webcomic really suck me in. in universe, there is a type of competitive skating called battle skating that mixes the elements and scoring of figure skating with the added feature of trying to knock down your opponent without drawing blood. the tournament adds great pacing to the forward moving plot to where while you are invest in the romance, you are still looking forward to seeing how the battles go among the different cast members going for gold.
the romance scenes are absolutely delicious. the two leads, Emile the deer and Radu the bat have a great chemistry and it is wonderful watching thier 'forbidden' realtionship grow as they try and navigate several different hurdles, both between themselves and with outside forces. i am patiently waiting for the next season and i neeeeed an animated adaptation asap!!
I Think I Like You

i have been a day one with I Think I Like You (ITILY), and i mean both in reading it when it came out and supporting them on Patreon once it opened. (Patreon is where you get some fantastic 18+ pinups, defintely worth the price of admission and no ads on the webcomic site!) my boyfriend and i love sitting together and catching up on batches of the comic that we missed so we can have little binges of cuteness and light, new crushes drama that comes with the full cast. the art is fantastic and they constantly have guest artists making work for promo covers or for thier Patreon pinups.
the creators have fantastic self-publishing mindset: they own thier own site, in-house merch fulfillment, and are consistent with posting. i think all of this is possible because of the dedication the aritsts show and how much the community loves it, there are entire fan accounts for this webcomic online, it is a big deal! give it a read, it costs nothing to enjoy and if you don't want to read on the parent site, they also post on Webtoon and Tapas.
