as you may have noticed, my website is hosted on Neocities, which was inspired by Geocities, an old website hosting platform before the internet got sanitized. Buster Wilde was a webcomic that published on Geocities! the link on the title takes you to an archived version of the site where you can view all the comic strips. there is also a published print version with additional art you can buy on Amazon (which I have done and recommend if you enjoy having physical media).

i see this comic as a time capsule into the gay 90s. the scenes in the bar remind me of what it was like going to legacy bars in my 20s, and the grit and crass humor i found there. aside from the view into the past, the humor of the comic being a straight, middle-aged guy who turns into a peppy, queer werewolf at night, stealing disco balls and running amok with the bar's bouncer, presents many comical situations, enough to which i think an animated sitcom series would be more than fitting!
